This is a fully interactive practical course specifically for the physiotherapists and clinical teams supporting elite footballers as well as individual practitioners who deal with a similar cohort of sports and women.  Mr Bajwa and a supporting Fellow will discuss and illustrate through practical physical examination the complex interaction of the groin and hip joint including femoroacetabular impingement, sports hernia and tendinopathy. Particular attention will be paid to specific issues for footballers both male and female.

Mr Agnello the supporting Fellow will give an update on the diagnosis of Ligamentum teres injury and the treatment options available including the option of ligamentum reconstruction. The current thoughts on successful rehabilitation of these patients will also be discussed.

In preparation for the course you will be provided with a relevant reading list that will support your learning on the day.
